Recently, the EPF organization has introduced a new scheme to link your EPF account. By linking your account, you can check your providential fund account balance, PF statements; submit PF queries or withdrawal of money from your EPF account.

Step 1: Visit EPFO portal and login using the UAN number and password.

Step 2: Once you logged in to your account, you will be directed to the new page. Go to the option “Manage Tab” and select the option KYC from the drop down menu.

Step 3: Once you selected the option “KYC”, you will be provided with the options where you can update the details like Aadhaar Card, Bank Details, PAN Card details, NPR, Voters ID details, Driving License, Passport etc.. Select the option Aadhaar Card and proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Click on the Aadhaar card option and enter the Aadhaar card number. Make sure to enter your name as like in the Aadhaar card. If there is any mismatch appears in your name, you can’t be able to proceed the next step. So, please careful while entering the name. After entering your name, click on “Save” tab.

Now, you’ve successfully linked your EPF account with your Aadhaar card.

The issue faced while linking your account is – You can’t perform the process if names are different. Due to a mismatch in names issues with either EPF organization or UIDAI website portal, you may be unable to update it. If your name on Aadhaar card is different, you need to update it.

After updating your details and clicking the button “Save” button, you view the same under the “KYC” tab. Wait for 15 days to get it verified and once it is approved,then you can check out your Aadhaar card in “Approved KYC” area.
