Check Aadhar Card Status Online By Name, Enrollment Number
Aadhar card has become a crucial identity card for every Indian to have one for him/her to access all of the benefits of the government schemes. Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) Enrollment
I understand that you have already enrolled for the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) at the nearest authorized Aadhar card center if you have not then you should even you do not need one right now.
Have you already applied for an Aadhar card? Then you haven’t received your Aadhar card yet? Then you can track your Aadhar card using the official website of Aadhar card. All you need is an acknowledgment receipt or slip which will be handed over to you after you have enrolled for the Aadhar card. If you have the Aadhar card registered slip then things will be easy for you, especially when you want to track it.

- Your enrolled slip or receipt (As we have explained before, you will be given a slip where you can find your name and other details on it along with the enrollment).
In case if you do not have your slip or you have misplaced the slip then contact you’re nearest authorized Aadhar card center.
How to Check Aadhar Card Status
As we have mentioned above, you need your enrollment slip, once you have it.
- The first step is, you have to go to the Official Aadhar card website to check the status.
- Now take your slip and check for 14 characters on the top of the slip.
- As you can see in their above picture, there are three fields, which need to be filled to check the Aadhar card status.
- The first field is the temporary enrollment ID, next up is the “Date/Month/Year Hours: Minutes: Seconds“, and you can find this information on the top of the enrolled slip. Date/Month/year is nothing but the date day and month you have applied on and coming to the H:M:S is nothing but the time, hour and sec you have applied on, which are explicitly mentioned in the enrollment slip itself.
Now let’s move on to the further steps,
- You need to enter you enrollment ID (14 characters).
- Enter the details (your applied date, month, year, minutes, hours and seconds).
- Now enter the Security Code (Look at the picture above the field).
- Enter it correctly, and then hit on Check Status.
You will be redirected another page after few seconds with the Aadhar card status information. Sometimes the official Aadhar card website does not respond, and you might experience technical downtime so do not panic. You give the official website some time to get things work back. Until then do not assume that your enrollment was failed or something.
Technical downtime is not estimated because the servers are connected to the highly encrypted security and it does take some time to get back on. Although it is rare to experience technical downtime, you can expect that because there are several thousand of people are on the website for different.
What Measures Do I have To Take If the Status Doesn’t Show Up
If the status check is failed then try again and despite several attempts, you enrollment ID failed to show up the status, then you are free to contact the nearest authorized service center.
So you can check up with the nearest authorized Aadhar center and resolve the issue. If the authorized Aadhar center failed to solve your problem on time or making excuses and delaying the time, then you can directly contact the head office of your state.
The head office of the Aadhar card are called “Regional Office” and you can find them doesn’t matter which state or city you are in because the government has set up a regional office in every district to help the people with the Aadhar card. You can find the nearest Regional Office.
The following Regional office head or key person information will be provided like “Name, Address, E-mail and designation” so that you contact the key person to resolve your issue with you Aadhar card. You problem will be taken into account but you have wait patiently as the technical issues doesn’t get resolved in matter of minutes.
